Hey, I'm Amy!

I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. I'm a native English speaker and also speak French. In University I studied history as well as languages, so I understand how challenging learning another language can be. Not only do I have a B.A. in History, but I've completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) training.

My experience in teaching began with helping out a high school basketball team for about 6 seasons. Before I began teaching English, I was a mentor for a young girl who needed a friend.  As for teaching a language, I have just  finished teaching for over a year and a half in a Chinese high school.

As I said, I've just left China and now I will be teaching from Thailand. I'm hoping to learn more about Asian cutlures, customs, and languages. As my understanding of other cultures and languages grow, I feel as if my abilities to teach English grow stronger too.

With my training and experience in TEFL, I feel confident that I can help you to learn English basics or improve the English you already have.
